That's Chuck and Rebecca Oakwood, from the awful comic I did in high school, Pet Peeves.

I always tried to avoid saying the character's name, so I wouldn't get sued. I've erased and rewritten it in this panel so many times I can't keep track. Ah well. It's funnier with his name.

The guy paying for these would send me little in-jokes to include. He really wanted MODOK to be a Bart Starr fan.

Ever since I read about Gary Larson having to take the word Ungulate out of a Far Side cartoon because he feared no one would understand it, I try to use it in my comics whenever possible.
