The second chapter of Gamer's Edge, and my favorite. A product of watching way too many Korean movies.

The middle panels are actually supposed to be read backwards, following Gord through the store. I didn't do a very good job expressing that.
KFC's been paying for product placement in a lot of tv shows lately. I want my check!
When I made these, peoplr could pay 5 bucks to be drawn into the comic, unfortunately, most of them ended being drawn as morons. Hey, that's kind of what this comic is about!
That's me in panel six. At the time, I was working illegally in Canada after telling the border guard I was going to the casino.
My plots always got complicated just to disguise the fact that I didn't know anything about video games.
So many Shawshank Redemption references.
I have so many characters riffing on this catchphrase, but I forgot to actually use it as a catchphrase so people who hadn't read Acts of Gord get what it means.
I would play Senor Pac Man.

The turtle grafitti in these backgrounds is based on a real Detroit graffiti artist named Turdl.
At this time I was working at an animation studio 9am to 5am daily, and once a week I'd pull an all nighter and work 5am to 9am on this.
